Defects in Goods Upon Delivery
If defects are found in the goods upon receipt, we offer several solutions to the customer:
- Compensation in the form of a purchase voucher;
- Repair or replacement of defective items;
- A reduction in the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible or appropriate
- Cancellation of the purchase contract if the defect is major, in accordance with Article 205 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
Items are considered defective if they do not meet standard or specified characteristics, if they do not fulfill their function, if they do not comply with legal standards, or if they are not delivered in the agreed quantity. Increased sensitivity or an allergic reaction to products will not be considered a defect. Similarly, any issue related to gifts or other free services will not be considered a defect.
Notification of Defects
In accordance with Article 201 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, the customer is required to inspect the goods upon receipt and immediately report any defects. Any late claim, not reported within a reasonable period, could lead to a limitation of our liability.
Returning Items
You have 30 days after receiving your order to return one or more items. To be eligible for a return, items must:
- Be in their original, unused, and undamaged condition;
- Be in their original packaging, with all tags intact.
Before making a return, please contact us at the following address: info@mybcbg.com. Once your return request is received, we will inform you of the next steps. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a proven product defect.
Missing or Incorrect Items
If an item is missing or incorrect in your order, please contact us immediately at info@mybcbg.com. We will process your claim as soon as possible.
Refund
Refunds will be processed after receipt and inspection of the returned items. If the returned items meet the conditions mentioned above, we will issue a refund using the payment method used at the time of purchase. The refund period may vary depending on your banking institution.
Exclusions
Certain items are not eligible for return or refund, such as:
- Personalized products;
- Consumable products already opened (e.g., unsealed perfumes);
